Copyright Infringement Case against Tyler Perry

Gospel singer and songwriter Bertha James got a lawsuit against Tyler Perry, alleging that Perry used a complete verse from a song that James had written in 1950. The law suit claimed that Perry stole the verse “When I Think of the Goodness of Jesus,” and used it in his movie "Madea" The type of work was movie/music. The results of the case was that Perry did not steal the verse, including he was not guilty.
